French Film Festival

French Film Festival time again. Must try to get along to some - would particularly like to see 36, Quai des Orfèvres with Daniel Auteil and Gérard Depardieu. (By the way, if you haven't seen Auteil in Michael Haneke's Hidden (Caché), I urge you to try and catch it.)
This Guardian article says that French films had over 2% of the British cinema market for the first time last year, which is a promising sign.

Edit: Would still very much like to see 36 Quai des Orfèvres, but it seems that to do so as part of the festival would require a trip to Birmingham, London or Didsbury. Guess I'll try and see something else during the festival and hope that this comes North later :)
