Airbus A380

As much as I worry about air travel's environmental impact, there is a certain undeniable romance about it (despite the best efforts of Ryanair, EasyJet et al) - and travel does broaden the mind. Plus, there are some impressive engineering feats involved.

The latest of these is the Airbus A380 - see here for a video of its construction, and read a Guardian article about the trip taken by the wings, which are manufactured in Wales and then taken to France for the assembly of the beast.
